Importance of Article Submissions and Things to Take Care

Articles submissions are an integral part of an SEO program, and are mainly focused on getting quality backlinks and driving traffic to websites. Apart from that there are many other free article sites where you can submit your articles for getting backlinks and traffic to your site. The free article submission directories accept your submissions and approve your articles after a certain period of time. There are also chances for your articles being rejected due to some other reasons. The free article directories approve the articles through manual process and hence it  may take some time for approval.

There are also paid article submission sites, which offer guaranteed approval of your articles. The paid article directories are almost similar to the free directories, except for the fact that it offers quick and guaranteed approval. With paid article submission, you may also get listed on more partner directories and thereby increasing the traffic and back links. So both the free and paid submissions help you in getting quality one way links and traffic to your site.

Before going for article submissions, you should create a unique and compelling article, which is well optimized with your keywords. “Well Optimized” doesn’t means stuffing your keywords in the content in a spammy way. There is a way of doing it the right way, without disturbing the flow and nature of the content. The keywords and the theme for the article should be decided before, and the content should be created accordingly.

7) Always keep track of the status of the article submission, ie whether it is accepted or rejected.

8 ) Once the article is submitted, you can do a bit of promotion via social media sites, which helps in bringing initial traffic and fast indexing of the articles by search engine spiders.
